Rating Consultancy The rating market in Europe is relatively new. External ratings are continually growing in importance for the business community, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises. The most frequent reason for this: Due to Basel II banks and savings banks have been forced into continually more restrictive lending practiced. For this reasons many firms have to increasingly make an effort towards finding alternative forms of financing. Even capital procurement in international financial markets is hardly possible without a rating anymore. The advantage of a rating analysis consists of the fact that not only are the figures from previous years checked, but that, over and above this, answers to the following questions are given: how innovative is my firm? How qualified are my personnel? Does the management pursue a strategy that is recognisable as sure for the future? |
